Name of our temple
Our temple, nestled in Kubera Nagar, Thachankurichi Village, Lalgudi Circle, Trichy District, Tamil Nadu, is a sanctuary of divine presence. Within its sacred precincts reside revered deities such as the three-faced Kubera Pillaiyar, Kariya Siddhi Anjaneyar, Samhara Bhairava, Dakshinamurthy, Sulini Durgai, and Thanvantri, the healer of diseases. Among the enshrined idols is Sri Lagu Mantra Varahi, bestowing her grace upon devotees in our Thirukovil.
The Trimukha Ganapati faces westward, while Sri Lagu Mantra Varahi sits in the north direction—manifestations of profound significance and power. Devotees who seek solace in our temple often find their aspirations fulfilled, experiencing the blessings of these divine entities.
Special homams, anointings, and decorations adorn the temple, enhancing its spiritual ambiance. The tradition of almsgiving thrives here, fostering a sense of community and devotion.
The sacred worship of Goddess Sri Lagu Mantra Varahi, the Earth's guardian, is believed to facilitate the auspicious construction of homes, dispelling obstacles related to land, work, career, vehicles, childlessness, and international travel. Through her grace, devotees overcome life's challenges and embark on paths of prosperity and fulfilment.
In our temple, specific poojas are performed on auspicious days to honor each deity. Sadhurthi Pooja, conducted during both Valarpirai and Theipirai, is dedicated to Pillaiyar. Thursdays are reserved for Dakshinamurthy, while Teipirai Varakirai Ashtami is observed for Samhara Bhairava. Kariyasiddhi Anjaneya receives reverence on Thursdays and Saturdays.
For Sulini Durgai, devotees visit on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Navratri days. Sri Lagu Mantra Varahi is worshipped on Ammavasai and Poornami days, as well as during Tamil Months Births on Vakripirai, Teipirai, and Panchamis.
Navratri holds special significance in our temple, with all four types—Ashada Navratri, Sharada Navratri, Shyamla Navratri, and Vasantha Navrathri celebrated fervently throughout the year.
To overcome marriage obstacles, devotees are advised to visit the temple, crush turmeric, and offer abishek to the Goddess, seeking her divine blessings.
